A Kasol tour package is a 3 to 6-day trip into the Parvati Valley: Kasol and the Chalal riverside walk, a day up to Tosh, the hot springs of Manikaran Sahib and, for fit walkers, the Kheerganga day trek. Suzu Travels does not sell a fixed Kasol-only package; we build Kasol trips to your dates with a private car, rooms and the day plan, and quote them on request. If you want a fixed price today, our nearest packages are the Kullu Manali honeymoon with a Manikaran day (4 nights / 5 days from Chandigarh, from ₹12,999 per person) and the Manali trip from Delhi (4 nights / 5 days from ₹14,999), to which we add Kasol nights. It suits friends, couples and families who want the valley without juggling buses and shared taxis.

Kheerganga rules: what you can and cannot do
Kheerganga is a 12–13 km trek from Barshaini to a meadow and hot spring at about 2,960 m. In July 2024 the Kullu Forest Department banned camping in the Kheerganga area: walkers must reach the top by 10 am and start down by 2 pm, and a barrier was put up at Icy Point on the trail. Overnight stays are allowed lower down at Nakthan, Barshaini, Kalga or Tosh. We found no notice lifting the ban as of November 2026, so treat it as a day trek and confirm locally before you go. Do not book anyone who offers you a tent at the top. Our Kheerganga trek page has the timings.
What is included and what is not

The fixed packages in the table above list their own inclusions; check the page of the one you choose. Lunch, activities and the Rohtang permit are excluded on all of them.

Best time for a Kasol trip
- March to June: the busy season, with pleasant days; May is the peak and hostels fill on weekends.
- Mid-September to November: clear skies, cold nights and fewer people. Our pick.
- July to mid-September: monsoon landslides on the valley road and beyond Manikaran; go only with spare days.
- December to February: cold and quiet; Tosh gets snow most winters, Kasol only sometimes.
One safety rule all year: stay off the rocks in the Parvati river. The water can rise suddenly when the upstream dam releases water.
Frequently asked questions
What is the price of a Kasol tour package?
Suzu Travels builds Kasol trips to your dates and quotes them on request, because the cost depends on the start city, the number of people sharing the car and the type of stay. Our nearest fixed packages are the Kullu Manali honeymoon with a Manikaran day, from ₹12,999 per person from Chandigarh, and the Manali trip from Delhi, from ₹14,999 per person, to which we add Kasol nights.
How many days are enough for Kasol?
Three nights on the ground: one day for Kasol and Chalal, one for Tosh and one for Manikaran. Add a day for the Kheerganga day trek, and two or three more if you also want Manali.
Is camping allowed at Kheerganga?
No. The Forest Department banned camping in the Kheerganga area in July 2024. It is a day trek: reach the top by 10 am and leave by 2 pm, and sleep in Barshaini, Kalga, Tosh or Nakthan. We found no notice lifting the ban as of November 2026; confirm locally before you go.
How far is Kasol from Delhi and Manali?
About 520 km from Delhi (11–12 hours by car or an overnight bus) and about 80 km from Manali, which takes around 3 hours because the road goes back down to Bhuntar first. Chandigarh is about 280 km, 7–8 hours.
Can I combine Kasol and Manali in one trip?
Yes, and most people do. Give Kasol two nights and Manali two or three. A 6-day plan from Delhi with an overnight drive up works well; trying both in two days means most of the time is spent in the car.
Is Kasol good for families?
Yes, if you choose the stay with care. Pick a hotel slightly away from the market or stay in Manikaran, plan the Chalal walk and the gurudwara, and keep children away from the river. The Tosh walk suits most children over eight.
Does Kasol get snow?
Sometimes, between late December and February, but not every year. Tosh, higher up the valley, gets snow most winters. For more reliable snow, add Manali, Solang or the Atal Tunnel to the trip.
