Why Nepal is the easiest first trip abroad
For an Indian family travelling internationally for the first time, Nepal removes almost every obstacle. There is no visa to apply for, Indian currency is widely accepted, Hindi is understood nearly everywhere, and the food will be familiar. You get a genuine foreign trip — new country, new stamp in the memory — without the paperwork and cost of a long-haul holiday.
How to choose your Nepal trip
Kathmandu and Pokhara — the classic first visit
Around five to six days. Two or three nights in Kathmandu for Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Durbar Square, then Pokhara for Phewa Lake, Sarangkot sunrise over the Annapurna range, and the caves and waterfalls around town. This is the trip most first-time visitors should take.
Adding Chitwan — good for families with children
Add two nights at Chitwan National Park for jeep safari, canoe rides on the Rapti and elephant breeding centre visits. It breaks the drive between Kathmandu and Pokhara and gives children something completely different from temples and viewpoints.
Muktinath and Damodar Kunda — the pilgrimage route
Muktinath is one of the 108 Divya Desams and a major Hindu and Buddhist site, reached via Pokhara and Jomsom. Trips run roughly seven to nine days depending on whether you fly or drive the Jomsom leg. Weather closes this route in deep winter, so plan for the shoulder months.
Everest mountain flight — a one-hour add-on
A scenic flight from Kathmandu that brings you level with Everest and returns in about an hour. Weather-dependent and best booked for an early-morning slot with a spare day in hand.

When to go
What your package includes
We quote land packages as standard — add flights if you would like us to handle those too.
How booking works
Tell us the basics
Rough dates, number of travellers and what you want to see. A WhatsApp message is enough to start.
Get a costed itinerary
A day-by-day plan with named hotels and a clear per-person price, usually within 24 hours.
Adjust until it fits
Change hotels, add Chitwan, drop a day, move the budget. We re-quote as often as you need.
Confirm with a token
Lock your rate with a small token amount. The balance is paid later, as agreed in writing.
Common questions about Nepal
No. Indian citizens can enter Nepal without a visa. You do need valid photo identification, and we confirm exactly which documents work for your specific route and airline before you travel.
Widely, yes, though smaller denominations are generally easier and some Indian notes are restricted. We advise on how much to carry and where to exchange when we send your itinerary.
Kathmandu and Pokhara are comfortable for most older travellers if the pace is planned properly. Sarangkot sunrise means an early start and some walking, and a few heritage sites involve steps. Tell us who is travelling and we will build the itinerary around their comfort.
The drive is scenic but takes most of a day. The flight takes under half an hour and buys you an extra half-day of sightseeing. On a short trip the flight is usually worth it; on a longer one the drive is part of the experience.
Five to six days covers Kathmandu and Pokhara properly. Add two for Chitwan, or plan seven to nine if Muktinath is the purpose of your trip. Under four days is possible but rushed.
