Drive along the Yamuna and Bhagirathi valleys. Evening at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Uttarkashi.
Drive to Gangotri, darshan of Maa Ganga and a holy dip in the Bhagirathi. Return to Uttarkashi.
A long mountain drive via Tehri and Rudraprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini.
By helicopter (booked on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal) or the 16 km trek, pony or palki from Gaurikund. Darshan of Baba Kedarnath.
Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath. Tapt Kund bath and evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.
Morning darshan and Mana, India's last village before Tibet. Drive down through Devprayag, where the Ganga is born.
Laxman Jhula and the ghats, then the drive to Delhi for your onward flight.

If you travel on an Indian passport, no visa is needed. Foreign citizens with an OCI card also need no visa. Foreign citizens of Indian origin without an OCI card, and other foreign nationals, need an Indian e-Tourist Visa from the official site indianvisaonline.gov.in.
Yes. Every pilgrim must register with the Uttarakhand Tourism Department before the yatra, on the official portal registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Foreign passport holders register with their passport details. We complete the registration for our guests and carry the printouts.
The temples usually open in late April or May and close in October or November. May–June and September–October are the best windows. July and August bring monsoon landslides. The 2027 opening dates are announced by the temple committees in early 2027, and we plan your trip around them.
Yes, with the right plan. Gangotri and Badrinath are reachable by road. For Yamunotri (about 6 km) and Kedarnath (about 16 km) we arrange pony, palki or the Kedarnath helicopter. We add rest days, carry oxygen and a first-aid kit in the vehicle and recommend a medical check-up before travel, as Kedarnath is at about 3,580 m.
Kedarnath helicopter shuttle tickets are sold only through the official IRCTC HeliYatra website (heliyatra.irctc.co.in), and seats go fast. We plan your dates around the booking windows and help you book. Please avoid websites or agents promising 'guaranteed' helicopter tickets.
Yes. Where the temple committees offer official puja and darshan bookings, we help you book them in advance and plan your day so you reach the temple at the right time.
Fly into Delhi (DEL). It has direct flights from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the Gulf and South-East Asia. We pick you up at the airport. For the helicopter yatra, the starting point is Dehradun, a short domestic flight or a 5–6 hour drive from Delhi.
Choose a policy that covers medical treatment at high altitude and emergency evacuation, including by helicopter. Check that it covers trekking above 3,500 m and your whole itinerary in India.
