Flights from Chennai to Srinagar (checked November 2026)
There is no non-stop from Chennai to Srinagar. On our search for 8 December 2026 every option had at least one stop, via Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad or Ahmedabad, and day-time journeys took about 5.5 to 10 hours. These are the options SlickTrip showed on 6 November 2026 for a one-way trip on 8 December 2026:

Return on 13 December 2026: SXR 18:50 → MAA 01:50 (next day) via Delhi, 7 h 00 min, US$158 (~₹15,000); a slower connection arriving 05:00 was US$149. IndiGo, Air India and Air India Express all fly the route with connections; none flies it non-stop. For these dates, SlickTrip rated US$90–165 as the usual one-way fare to Srinagar and US$110–205 for the way back. Rupee figures use about ₹95 to the US dollar (late October 2026 rate). This is a snapshot for two dates, not a timetable; schedules and fares change, and May–June and Christmas fill early.

- September–November: clear skies, golden chinars and off-season rates.
- December–February: snow in Gulmarg. Chillai Kalan (21 December–31 January) is the coldest stretch; bring thermals and gloves, and hire snow boots and long coats near Gulmarg.
