A Jibhi tour package is a 3 to 6-day trip to the Banjar valley of Kullu: wooden cottages in Jibhi, the drive up to Jalori Pass with the Serolsar Lake walk, and a night by the Tirthan river near the Great Himalayan National Park. Suzu Travels does not sell a fixed Jibhi package; we plan Jibhi and Tirthan trips to your dates with a private car and stays, and quote them on request. Jibhi also fits neatly into a Manali trip, and our nearest fixed packages start at ₹12,499 per person (Shimla Manali from Chandigarh, 5 nights / 6 days). It suits couples, families and small groups who want quiet hills instead of Mall Road crowds.

Sample itinerary: Shimla, Jalori, Jibhi and Manali (6 days)
When Jalori is open, roughly April to mid-December, this route avoids repeating the Mandi road and puts Jibhi between Shimla and Manali.

|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Chandigarh to Shimla (about 120 km). Mall Road and the Ridge. | Shimla |
| Day 2 | Shimla via Narkanda, Luhri and Ani over Jalori Pass (about 150 km to the pass), down to Jibhi. | Jibhi |
| Day 3 | Jibhi waterfall, Chehni Kothi and a slow afternoon by the river. | Jibhi |
| Day 4 | Jibhi to Manali (about 100 km via Aut and Kullu). | Manali |
| Day 5 | Solang Valley, or the Atal Tunnel and Sissu. | Manali |
| Day 6 | Drive back to Chandigarh. | Home |
In winter, when Jalori is shut, we route through Mandi and Aut instead and make Shoja the snow stop.

Best time for a Jibhi trip
- March to June: pleasant days; Jalori usually reopens between March and April.
- September to mid-December: clear views and quiet roads. October and November are our pick.
- Late December to February: snow at Shoja and Jalori; the pass road usually closes after the first heavy snow. Trout fishing is closed from 1 November to the end of February.
- July to August: monsoon; the Aut–Banjar road and the pass are slide-prone.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cost of a Jibhi tour package?
Suzu Travels plans Jibhi trips to your dates and quotes them on request, because the price depends on the start city, the number of people sharing the car and the type of cottage. Our nearest fixed package, Shimla Manali from Chandigarh, starts at ₹12,499 per person for 5 nights / 6 days, and Jibhi nights can be added to it.
How many days are enough for Jibhi and Tirthan?
Three nights: two in Jibhi for the waterfall, Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake, and one by the Tirthan river for Chehni Kothi and a park trail. Add two or three nights for Manali.
How far is Jibhi from Delhi and Manali?
About 500 km from Delhi, 10–12 hours by car; about 265 km from Chandigarh, 7–8 hours; and about 100 km from Manali via Aut. The nearest airport is Bhuntar, about 50–60 km away.
Is Jalori Pass open in winter?
Usually not after the first heavy snow, which most years comes in late December. The road typically stays closed, or opens only to 4×4 vehicles, until about March or April. Shoja, below the pass, is the usual winter snow point.
Can I combine Jibhi with Manali?
Yes. Jibhi is about 100 km from Manali, and from April to mid-December you can come from Shimla over Jalori Pass, stay in Jibhi and continue to Manali without repeating the Mandi road.
Do I need a permit for Tirthan Valley?
Not to stay in Gushaini or walk the ecozone trails. Entry into the core of the Great Himalayan National Park needs a permit from the Sai Ropa range office; carry ID.
Is Jibhi good for families?
Yes. The waterfall walk is easy and short, the Tirthan riverside is calm, and drives inside the valley are short. Keep the Serolsar Lake walk for fit members of the group and avoid the pass road after snow.
