Georgia Tour Packages from India
The Gergeti Trinity Church high above Kazbegi, the old town and fortress walls of Tbilisi, the monasteries of Mtskheta, Ananuri fortress on the mountain road and snow at Gudauri in winter — Georgia is a compact, scenic holiday abroad for Indian travellers. We plan it to your dates, your budget and your pace.
Why Georgia works so well for Indian travellers
Georgia is small, so a short holiday covers a lot: Tbilisi’s old town, sulphur-bath quarter and riverside parks, the ancient churches of Mtskheta, the mountain road past Ananuri and Gudauri to Kazbegi and the Caucasus peaks, and the vineyards and hill town of Sighnaghi in Kakheti. Distances are short, the scenery changes every hour, and the food has plenty of vegetarian choices.

Choose the Georgia trip that fits you
Start from the kind of trip you want — we fine-tune the days, hotels and pace to your group.
Honeymoon
A boutique stay in old Tbilisi, a mountain-view room in Kazbegi and a slow day among the vineyards of Kakheti. Add Batumi on the Black Sea if you have more time.
Classic circuit
Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Ananuri, Gudauri and Kazbegi, with a Kakheti day trip, in 5–7 nights. The trip most first-time visitors from India choose.
Family holiday
Two hotel bases, a private vehicle with driver, short drives and rest built into the day. In winter, a snow day at Gudauri is a favourite with children.
Groups & corporate
Coaches with guides, group check-ins, conference venues and team dinners. Tell us the group size and we quote accordingly, including B2B for travel agents.
Where to stay — it shapes your whole trip
Old Tbilisi
Stay near the old town, Narikala fortress and the sulphur-bath quarter — everything on foot. The easiest base for a first visit.
Rustaveli & Vera, Tbilisi
Central, with wide avenues, museums, cafés and easy taxis. Good for families who prefer larger city hotels.
Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) or Gudauri
Mountain hotels with views of the Caucasus. Kazbegi for the Gergeti church in summer, Gudauri for snow and ski slopes in winter.
Sighnaghi or Batumi
Sighnaghi is a small hill town in the Kakheti wine region; Batumi is a Black Sea city for a few beach and promenade days in summer.
A sample 6-day Tbilisi, Kazbegi & Kakheti itinerary
The classic first trip to Georgia. We rebuild it around you — a snow day at Gudauri in winter, Batumi for a longer summer trip, fewer hotel changes for families.
Airport pickup and hotel check-in. An easy evening walk in the old town and dinner near your hotel.
Narikala fortress (by cable car from Rike Park), the sulphur-bath quarter, Metekhi, the Peace Bridge and the old-town lanes with a local guide.
Jvari Monastery and the old capital Mtskheta, then the mountain road past Ananuri fortress and Gudauri to Kazbegi for the night.
Up to the Gergeti Trinity Church by 4×4 or on foot for the mountain views, then back to Tbilisi via the Gudauri viewpoint.
The hill town of Sighnaghi, Bodbe and a family-run vineyard visit (grape juice and churchkhela for non-drinkers), back to Tbilisi.
A last coffee or shopping stop, then the transfer to Tbilisi airport for your flight home.
When to go to Georgia
Late spring and early autumn suit most Indian travellers; winter is for those who want snow. We check road and weather conditions against your dates.
| Months | Verdict | Weather | What it means for your trip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apr – Jun | Best | Spring, mild to warm | Green valleys and comfortable sightseeing. In April there can still be snow on the high mountain road. May and June are ideal for Kazbegi. |
| Jul – Aug | Good | Warm in Tbilisi, cool in the mountains | Busy summer season. A good time to add Batumi on the Black Sea; plan city walks for mornings and evenings. |
| Sep – Oct | Best | Warm days, cool evenings | Pleasant weather and the grape harvest season in Kakheti. Pack a jacket for Kazbegi. |
| Nov – Mar | Snow season | Cold, snow in the mountains | Snow at Gudauri and Kazbegi and ski slopes in Gudauri. The mountain road can close for a while after heavy snow, so we keep a flexible day. |
Visa and entry for Indian passport holders
What the official rules say
- Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Georgia. (Only Indian diplomatic and official/service passport holders are exempt.)
- e-Visa: India is on the list of countries whose citizens can apply on the official Georgian e-Visa portal, evisa.gov.ge. Tourists are asked for a photo, a copy of the passport, proof of accommodation, a return ticket, travel insurance and proof of funds.
- Visa-free with another visa or residence permit: if you hold a valid visa or residence permit of a country on Georgia’s official list — including the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, EU member states, Switzerland, Norway, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain — you may enter and stay without a Georgian visa for 90 days in any 180-day period. The visa or permit must be valid on the day you enter Georgia.
- Georgia’s National Tourism Administration says a decision on a visa is made within 5 to 30 calendar days depending on the category — so apply well before your travel date.

Please note: visa approval and entry at the border are always the decision of the Georgian authorities. We guide you through the documents and timelines honestly, but we never promise an outcome we do not control.
Apply only on the official portal, and keep printed copies of your hotel bookings, return ticket and insurance with you when you travel.

Common questions about Georgia
Do Indians need a visa for Georgia?
Yes, Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Georgia. India is on the list of countries that can apply for a Georgian e-Visa on the official portal evisa.gov.ge. If you hold a valid visa or residence permit of a country on Georgia's official list — such as the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, EU member states, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait or Bahrain — you may enter without a Georgian visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, as long as that visa or permit is valid on the day you enter. Entry is always the decision of the Georgian authorities.
How many days are enough for Georgia?
Five to six nights covers Tbilisi, the mountain drive to Kazbegi (with Mtskheta, Ananuri and Gudauri on the way) and a day in the Kakheti wine region. With seven or eight nights you can add Batumi on the Black Sea coast or slow the pace down.
When is the best time to visit Georgia from India?
May to June and September to October suit most Indian travellers: pleasant days in Tbilisi and green, open mountain roads. July and August are warm in Tbilisi and pleasant in the mountains. December to March brings snow — Gudauri is a ski resort — but mountain roads can close for a while after heavy snowfall.
Can we see snow in Georgia?
Yes. In winter the Gudauri and Kazbegi area is usually snow-covered, and Gudauri has ski slopes and chairlifts. The high mountain road can close temporarily after heavy snow, so we keep a flexible day in winter plans and check road conditions before the drive.
Is vegetarian food easy to find in Georgia?
Yes. Georgian food has many vegetarian dishes — cheese-filled khachapuri breads, bean stew (lobio), vegetable and walnut pkhali, aubergine rolls and fresh salads — and Tbilisi has Indian restaurants. Jain meals need advance notice, which we arrange with hotels where possible.
Why are there no prices on this page?
Georgia costs depend on your dates, hotel category, the vehicle you need and the airfare from India. Instead of a teaser price that changes when you ask, we send a costed, day-by-day quote for your dates — usually within 24 hours.
