Upon arrival at the Srinagar airport, our tour representative will be there to meet and assist you with transfer to the hotel/houseboat. Once you have completed the check-in formalities, the tour will begin with a delicious lunch followed by a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, which is a must-do activity in Srinagar. The ride will be on a direct payment basis. Next, you will visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens, which are a collection of gardens built during the Mughal era, including Nishat Bagh, Chashme-e-Shahi and Shalimar Bagh. These gardens are famous for their stunning views and intricate designs. You will spend the night in Srinagar.
On the second day of the tour, after breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kargil. Along the way, there will be several stops including Sonamarg, a picturesque valley with lush green views and snow-capped peaks, the Zojila Pass, a high altitude mountain pass, and the Drass Village, which is considered the second coldest inhabited place in the world. During the visit to Drass village, you will visit the War Memorial Hall and Museum, also known as Vijaypath, which is dedicated to the memory of the soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who lost their lives in the Kargil War. Upon arrival in Kargil in the evening, you will complete the check-in formalities. The rest of the evening is free to explore the local market of Kargil and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the Suru River during sunset. Return to the hotel in the evening for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.
On the following day, after breakfast, you will set out on a drive to Leh. Along the way, you will make a quick visit to the Lamayuru Monastery, which is known for its unique landscape that resembles the moon. You'll have an opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful landscape to keep as memories. Continuing the journey, you will stop at the Magnetic Hill, which is a natural wonder, and at Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a memorial built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru. After that, you will continue your drive to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, you will visit the Hall of Fame Museum, which is a war memorial built by the Indian Army to honor the soldiers who lost their lives in Indo-Pak wars. After completing check-in formalities at the hotel, the evening is free for you to explore the markets of Leh and enjoy the majestic landscapes. You will spend the night in Leh.
On the next day, you will have a leisurely day without any planned activities. You can either relax in the comfort of your hotel or choose to explore the local market of Leh. It is important to note that since Leh is located at a high altitude, it is important to take the necessary precautions to acclimatize to the altitude such as taking sufficient rest, drinking fluids, and moving around. You should use this day to rest and get acclimatized before continuing on the trip. You will spend the night in Leh.
On the fifth day of your Leh Ladakh tour, after breakfast, you will proceed to one of the most beautiful places in the region, the Nubra Valley. The journey will take you over the Khardungla Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at an altitude of 18,380 feet. After reaching Nubra Valley, you will check into the hotel. Following lunch, you will leave the hotel to enjoy a ride on a double-humped camel to explore the sand dunes between Diskit and Hunder village. You will be surrounded by the stunning scenery and will have an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the area. You will spend the night in Nubra Valley.
On the following day, you will embark on an exciting and fascinating journey to Turtuk, a village that is not well-known but holds an incredible history. You will start your journey from Nubra in the morning and head to Turtuk. Turtuk was a part of Pakistan until 1971, and during your visit, you will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and hear their stories of how they woke up one morning to find themselves in India after the Indian army recaptured the village, which was part of the Baltistan region of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Along the way, you will be able to witness the raw beauty of Ladakh and its interiors which have been untouched by modernity. Turtuk is famous for its apricot and walnut farms, and during your visit, you will have the chance to spend time in the farms and alongside the Shyok River. In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Nubra for dinner and overnight stay.
On the following day, you will start your day early with a hearty breakfast. After that, you will visit the Diskit Monastery to receive blessings from Lord Buddha. The ancient monastery has a serene and holy ambiance that is sure to bless all who pay it a visit. You will also take in the magnificent views of the Nubra Valley, which is nothing short of amazing for all your senses.
As you drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok River, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape beauty of the area. The view itself will give you a rush of adrenaline with its limitless opportunities for adventure. You will stop for lunch at Durbuk and after a 1-hour break, you will continue your drive to Pangong Lake. Upon arrival, you will check into your tents and have the opportunity to bask in the beauty of the multiple blue colors of the water and start gazing at Pangong Lake, which is an experience of a lifetime. You will spend the night in Pangong Lake.
On the following day, you will start the day early by taking in the picturesque view of the sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, you will begin your drive back to Leh. Along the way, you will visit the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Once you reach Leh, our driver will drop you off at the Leh market where you will have the opportunity to explore on your own. The car will then leave the service station.
After exploring the market and doing some shopping, you will return to the hotel. You will have a delicious dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Leh.
The next day, after having breakfast at 7:30 AM, you will begin your drive to Sarchu, passing through Skyangchu Thang. Along the way, you will enjoy your lunch at Pang, by crossing Nakeela and Lachung La. You will continue your drive to Jispa and arrive there by evening. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the majestic beauty of Jispa by strolling around. You will spend the night in Jispa.
On the following day, after breakfast, you will begin your drive to Manali, a beautiful scenic drive that includes crossing the Baralacha La pass at 4845 meters, having lunch at Sissu village, and later crossing the famous Rohtang Pass at 13050 ft. Upon arrival in Manali, you will check-in at the hotel. The rest of the time is free for you to explore Manali and its surroundings. You can go for sightseeing, explore the market, and enjoy local delicacies on Mall Road. You can also explore Old Manali and experience its hippie vibe. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Manali.
Today is the final day of your tour. Our team will assist you with a transfer to the airport or bus stand for your onward journey. Make sure you have all your belongings and have a safe trip.
