Frequently Asked Questions
Snow is primarily available in Solang Valley or Rohtang Pass from December to early June. During other months, you can see snow on distant peaks.
Shimla is approximately 115 km from Chandigarh, which takes about 3.5 to 4 hours by road.
Carry heavy woolens for winter (Nov-Feb) and light jackets or sweaters for the rest of the year as evenings can be chilly.
Rohtang Pass is subject to availability and NGT permits. It can be added to the itinerary at an extra cost if the road is open.
