Upon your morning arrival in Haridwar, you will embark on a scenic drive to the beautiful town of Guptkashi. After checking into your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to explore this charming town at your leisure.
Perhaps you'll wander through the local markets and shops, sampling the delicious street food and admiring the vibrant colors and sounds of daily life. Or, you may choose to take a relaxing stroll through the picturesque surroundings, soaking up the natural beauty and serene atmosphere of the area.
In the evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring to your hotel or campsite for a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the Himalayan foothills.
After an early breakfast and check-out from your hotel in Guptkashi, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey to Sonprayag, from where your 20 km trek to Kedarnath will begin. Along the way, you'll have the option to hire a Doli or a horse for your trek, at an additional cost.
As you make your way towards Kedarnath, you'll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty and the sound of fellow pilgrims chanting "Jai Bholenath". The Mandakini River, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges, originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund.
Sometimes, the mist will envelop the mountains, adding to the sense of mysticism and awe as you climb higher towards Kedarnath. Eventually, the mist will lift, revealing the blinding-white peak of the mountain that seems to threaten the very sky.

On this day, you'll rise before dawn and take a bath before heading to the Kedarnath temple for the 'Abhishek' to Kedarnath Shiva. You'll arrive at the temple by 4:45 am, joining fellow pilgrims in the ancient tradition of performing puja to Lord Shiva.
One of the unique features of this temple is that everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol, or even prostrate with their head touching the deity. After completing your darshan and puja, you'll come out of the temple and return to your accommodations at the Govt. Camps/Lodges.
Later in the day, you'll begin the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. From there, vehicles will be waiting for you in Sonprayag Car Parking, and you'll drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi.

After a peaceful overnight stay in Guptkashi, you'll check-out of your hotel at 8:00 am and embark on a scenic drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Along the way, you'll be treated to some stunning views of the Ghat road and the surrounding landscape.
Upon your arrival at Badrinath, you'll check into your hotel and take some time to rest and refresh yourself. Later in the evening, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Badrinath Temple for darshan.
Before visiting the temple, however, you'll first make a stop at Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring where you'll take a bath in the purifying waters. The temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire.
After completing your darshan, you'll return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the natural beauty of Badrinath.
