Day 01
HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH - BARKOT
HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH - BARKOT (190kms/7hr)
Early in the morning, you will drive to Barkot through the scenic town of Mussoorie. The distance to be covered is approximately 200 km and will take about 7 hours. On arrival, you will check-in at your hotel and have the rest of the day free for individual activities. Dinner will be served at the hotel and you will spend the night there.
Day 02
BARKOT - YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT
BARKOT - YAMUNOTRI - BARKOT (41kms/3hrs on foot one way)
After breakfast, depart from Barkot to Hanumanchatti. From Hanumanchatti, commence your trek to Yamunotri, covering a distance of 6 km by foot or by hiring a horse or Doli at your own cost. At Yamunotri, you can cook rice in the hot water of the hot kund, which is considered to be a sacred ritual. You can also offer Pooja to Divya Shila and take a holy dip in the warm water of Jamunabai Kund before seeking blessings from the revered "Yamunaji" at the main temple. Later, return to Barkot for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03
BARKOT - UTTARKASHI
BARKOT - UTTARKASHI (150kms/5hr)
Early morning, drive to Uttarkashi. After covering the distance of around 150 Kms, arrive at Uttarkashi and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Lord Vishwanath Temple, which is located on the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple is famous for its massive iron trident. Other important temples located here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar, and Goddess Kuteti Devi. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04
UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI
UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI
Early in the morning, proceed for Gangotri. On the way, make a stopover at Gangnani to take a dip in the holy hot water spring. After reaching Gangotri, visit the Gangotri Temple and seek blessings. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi and check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05
UTTARKASHI – RISHIKESH / HARIDWAR
UTTARKASHI – RISHIKESH / HARIDWAR (180/190kms/6hr)
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Rishikesh or Haridwar, depending on your preference. The distance to cover is approximately 230 km and the journey may take up to 6 hours. On arrival, the tour services will come to an end.
