RISHIKESH - BARKOT (180kms/5-6hrs drive)
After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will proceed for Barkot from Haridwar. The journey covers a distance of 200 kms and takes approximately 7 hours, with a brief stopover in the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie. You will visit the famous Kempty falls of Mussoorie, which are a popular tourist attraction known for their scenic beauty and cool refreshing water.
After spending some time at Kempty falls, you will continue your drive to Barkot, a small town located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. On arrival in Barkot, you will check-in to the hotel and spend the night there, enjoying the comfortable accommodation and peaceful surroundings. After enjoying your breakfast in the morning, you will leave Uttarkashi and drive for 100 Kms, which will take approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival at your destination, you will check-in to your hotel and rest for a while. Later in the day, you can explore the beautiful town of Uttarkashi and its exquisite locations.
You can go for a short trek to the nearby hills or visit popular sites such as Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav or Gyaneshwar. However, a must-visit site in Uttarkashi is the Vishwanath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its religious significance and architectural beauty.

On the fourth day of the tour, you will proceed for Gangotri from Uttarkashi. The distance between the two places is 100 Kms, and the journey will take approximately 4 hours. Gangotri is a calm and spiritual town nestled amidst the Himalayan ranges at an elevation of 3048 meters above sea level. It is considered the sitting place of goddess Ganga.
Upon arrival, you will visit the main temple shrine for Darshan and explore the location. The Gangotri temple is a famous religious site and is known for its spiritual significance and stunning architecture. You can also take a stroll around the town, admire the serene natural beauty, and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the place.

After enjoying your morning breakfast in Uttarkashi, you will proceed towards Guptkashi, which is located at a distance of 210 Kms from Uttarkashi. The journey will take approximately 7 hours. Guptkashi is a beautiful town located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.
Upon arrival, you will check-in to your hotel and relax for a while. Guptkashi is known for its scenic beauty and spiritual significance. The town is surrounded by lush green forests, majestic mountains, and beautiful rivers.
You can spend your evening exploring the town, visiting nearby temples and shrines, and admiring the natural beauty of the place. After having an early breakfast, drive to Haridwar which is situated 205 Kms away and the journey takes around 4 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, visit the holy Ganga Ghat for a dip in the sacred river and witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti. Spend the night at the hotel in Haridwar.
